Ms. Atkeson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Women's Studies (2002) from Agnes Scott College and completed her Master's of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University (2005). She has been practicing Dialectical Behavior Therapy for nineteen years and has been intensively trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech.

> 17 years experience providing DBT and psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and families
> Experience providing DBT services in Private Practice, Residential Treatment, and Inpatient Hospital settings
> Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), able to provide supervision to other counselors
