While each member of our team specializes in DBT, they also work with individuals looking for help with anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, and phobias. They implement several different therapeutic approaches such as RO DBT, EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, CBT, ERP and EFT.

  • There is no particular length of therapy and it can be subjective based on presenting problems in relationships.

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) works by helping couples identify and understand their negative interaction patterns, accessing and expressing their underlying emotions, and creating new, healthier patterns of interaction. The therapy focuses on building secure emotional bonds by fostering empathy, responsiveness, and emotional connection between partners. This process leads to improved communication, reduced conflict, and stronger, more resilient relationships.

  • The goals of couples and family therapy include helping everyone talk and listen better, finding and fixing problems, building stronger emotional connections, learning to solve issues together, encouraging mutual support and understanding, understanding family patterns and behaviors, increasing empathy for each other, creating a supportive and respectful environment, and restoring trust in relationships.

  • Not all family members need to take part in marriage and family therapy for it to be effective. Often, uninterested family members get involved in therapy later if there is at least one motivated person in the family.

  • We do not accept insurance. We can provide a superbill for services which you may be able to use to file for Out-of-Network (OON) reimbursement. Please follow up with your insurance company about OON benefits, deductibles, and reimbursement rates.

  • Fees vary by clinician and are determined by their experience and education level. Family and couple therapy fees range from $180–$260 for a 45–50 minute therapy session.
