Emma Hickey is a Licensed Master Social Worker Georgia.
Emma graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2019. She worked immediately out of school to learn more about the mental health field and gain experience working in an acute mental health facility. She went on to receive her Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State University in May 2022. She has been practicing in the mental health field for the past 3 years utilizing a range of therapeutic styles and interventions to tailor treatment based on each client’s individual needs. Emma is supervised by Liza Reed, LMFT, LPC.

My goal as a therapist is to integrate various techniques to empower clients to gain ownership over their internal dialogue. We are all authors of our story, and I encourage my clients to become aware of the stories they tell themselves. I provide a comfortable environment for my clients to discover elements of themselves and begin to adapt their narratives in a healing manner. .
My clients can expect that I provide a space for honesty, support, and acceptance when they enter sessions with me. Additionally, I strive to meet clients where they are at. I operate from a client centered approach which emphasizes client’s individual strengths, which empowers clients to decide what is best for them.
