Allison Dixon is a Licensed Master of Social Work in the state of Georgia.
Ms. Dixon (She/They) earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology (2018) with a minor in Biology from Georgia State University and their Masters in Social Work (2021) from Kennesaw State University. Allison has been practicing DBT for four years and completed DBT foundational training through Behavioral Tech. Allison has extensive experience providing DBT in acute clinical settings with Adults and their families impacted by comorbid psychiatric concerns including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD, ASD, gender dysphoria, bipolar disorders and OCD. Allison is supervised by Tiffany Poke, LCSW, ED.S.

> Master Social Work from Kennesaw State University
> Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Georgia
> Dialectical Behavior Therapy Foundational Training through Behavioral Tech, LLC
> 5+ years of providing acute clinical social services, including individual and group therapy in dBT, CBT, MI, and ACT.
> Experience Facilitating BIPOC Support Groups
> Qualitative Research Conducting a Multicultural Needs Assessment

Life can be hard as it is currently being lived. Sometimes our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors get so intense that we don’t know how to effectively navigate life.
I am an intensively trained DBT therapist through Behavioral Tech, LLC. I truly believe that learning a new set of effective and healthy coping skills can and will create a life worth living.
In therapy we will utilize mindfulness, cognitive, and behavioral skills to help steer you toward your goals for therapy. I believe in creating a therapeutic environment where we can create a balance of acceptance and change in your life.
